Baptism
Baptism is a powerful public declaration of faith, symbolizing a believer's identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:4). It is not what saves us but it boldly proclaims that we have been saved - washed clean, made new, and raised to walk in a brand-new life. Jesus Himself was baptized and calls His followers to do the same (Matthew 28:19), making baptism a beautiful next step of obedience that marks the beginning of a transformed life in Christ.

If you are interested in learning more about City Church, would like to meet the staff, or have questions about who we are and what we believe, we invite you to attend City Connect. City Connect meets every other month on the first Sunday right after the service in the Living Room. You can register at the link below and one of our staff members will follow up with more details.
City Groups
City Groups are essential to spiritual growth because they create space for genuine relationships, personal discipleship, and mutual encouragement as we follow Jesus together. In Acts 2:46, the early church met "in the temple courts and from house to house," showing both large gatherings and intimate community were vital to their faith. Proverbs 27:17 reminds us that "as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another," emphasizing the power of close relationships to refine and strengthen our walk with God. In small groups, we move from rows to circles - where faith becomes real, life is shared, and transformation happens.
We have groups that meet at the church, in coffee shops, public gathering places, and in homes. We have groups for men, women, couples, singles, young and old alike. Whatever your season of life or wherever you are in your faith journey, there is a City Group for you.

SERVE TEAMS
At City, we're passionate about the ministry model Paul describes in Ephesians 4 - where pastors aren't the only ministers, but are called to equip all believers to do the work of ministry. The strength and influence of the Church doesn't rest on the shoulders of a few staff members, but flows through every person who calls City home. Our mission is to equip, encourage, and empower you to live out your God-given purpose and make a difference in the world around you.
SERVE Teams are how er turn belief into action - using our unique gifts to build the church and impact lives. 1 Peter 4:10 says, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace," reminding us that serving isn't just helpful - it's worship. When we serve, we reflect Jesus who, "did not come to be served, but to serve." (Mark 10:45) Through SERVE Teams, every act - whether on stage or behind the scenes - becomes a vital part of the mission, helping people experience God's love
